That being said, I had a girls night in party. I busted out all the new tasting dishes and made little many portions of everything.

Girls' Night In Tasting Party
I preface all of this by saying that I have no real idea how to put together a menu. Well, at least, not the way you're supposed to where all the flavors complement each other. I just kind of make what I want to make but being sure that there's a meat, something that can be considered a side, probably some "appetizer" and a dessert. So all the things are tasty, but that's where I stop.

[Halloween] Food and Graveyard
One of the things I love most about Halloween is the creepy food I get to cook. A little bit surprisingly, I like to cook. But as someone suggested, I seem to like desserts and appetizers better than anything else. So that's pretty much gets made for Halloween.

[Halloween] Vampire Bite Cupcakes
The cooking has begun! And until this moment, I didn't even realize that I made Vampire Bite Cupcakes during Vampire Diaries! Listen up vampires: stop eating people...eat cupcakes!
This was batch 1 of 2 for a total of 48 cupcakes. SHHH.. don't tell my trainer. You can, however, mention it to my coworkers...who inevitably get the leftovers. Here's the recipe. I used just a box mix though and can of icing.
I also got all the plates and platters and holders down out of the attic and put them on the table. It's not decorated yet, but GIVE ME TIME.
Yesterday I put together all the rest of the coffin treat boxes. I opted not to do the chocolate sucker things that I got from Michael's because I was tired of being on my feet. It was a long day at work and cooking and set up for a few hours straight...too much. Plus...you should see the table...where would I put them?
